Notifications
LLMster can notify you when a response completes. These are local device notifications; they do not use a LLMster-operated push server.
Enable completion alerts
Section titled “Enable completion alerts”- Open Settings → App and enable Local Notifications.
- Allow notification access when the operating system asks. If access was previously denied, change it in the system’s notification settings for LLMster.
- Start a response. When a completion notification appears, open it to return to the associated conversation.
Focus modes, notification settings, and whether you are already viewing the app can affect presentation. The toggle does not override operating-system permissions.
Live Activities
Section titled “Live Activities”On supported devices, a Live Activity can show response progress outside the app. The Dynamic Island presentation is available on compatible iPhones. Opening the activity returns to its conversation.
Background limits
Section titled “Background limits”The host must also stay awake and connected. A local notification can only report a completion the app receives; it cannot keep a sleeping server or disconnected network working.
If work is interrupted, reopen the conversation and review its partial response and any recovery notice. See response troubleshooting or notification troubleshooting.
