Chats and folders

Your chat library is stored on your device. Each conversation keeps its messages, selected model, and chat settings.

  1. Choose New Chat from the chat library.
  2. Select a model and wait for it to load.
  3. Enter your message and choose Send. Responses appear as they arrive; use Stop to end generation.

New chats receive a title based on your title-generation preference. You can rename a chat yourself later.

Use the library search to find a chat by its title or model. Recent and Folders separate your recent conversations from folder organization. More conversations load as you scroll.

Pin frequently used chats in the recent list to keep them near the top. Pinning a chat is separate from pinning a model.

Touch and hold a chat to open its actions. The recent list also provides swipe actions. Use Rename, Duplicate, Move to Folder, or Share as needed.

Create a folder with New Folder, give it a name, then use Move to Folder on a chat. Remove from Folder returns a chat to the unfiled library without deleting it. Moving chats does not change their order in recent conversations.

Duplicate creates another conversation in your library. To move a conversation to another device or person, use Share Conversation. To share readable text, use Export Transcript. See Sharing and backups for the differences.

Choose Delete from a chat’s actions and review the confirmation. For a folder, review Delete Folder before confirming.
